HOUSE MANUAL

CHECKING IN

Address:

221 Clubhouse Rd. Sunset Beach, NC 28468 (Building #5, Unit 505)

Arrival:

Parking: Feel free to park in any open space outside of building #5. There aren't any assigned or reserved parking spaces.

Door/lock: Enter the four digit code on the keypad to unlock the door. Door will lock upon closing, you don’t need to enter a code to lock it.

Internet: Wifi Network: Unit 505 Password: 05050505

Modem/Router: The Modem and Router are located along the wall near the kitchen / Living room area. If you need to reset the Internet, many times just unplugging these and plugging them back in after a minute will resolve issues. If problems persist, please reach out to us right away.

Thermostats: If the condo is too hot or too cold, you will find two thermostats in the unit. One is in kitchen area, the second is hidden behind the door in the kitchenette of the guest suite (bedroom near the front door). When leaving in cold months, please set heat to 65 when you leave. When leaving in warm months, please set the AC to 78 when you leave.

TVs:

Please note: The only remote that you’ll need to use is the Roku remote. No need to use the TV remote.

On/Off - Use the red button on top of remote

Volume - Up/down buttons on the right side of remote

There is a TV in the living room and each bedroom. All have a Roku remote with access to YouTubeTV (Local and Network channels with Live TV), Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ and Apple TV+ for movies and TV shows. These are all FREE! We have added a user name for the condo so you can just start watching and don’t need to log in or have an account to access any of the services!

Use your own Netflix, Hulu account etc? Sure! You can access your own account, by using the Smart TV Remote in the Living room to find the app you’re looking for thru the TV directly instead of Roku. PLEASE don’t Log Out of our accounts - the next guest won’t have the same access.

YouTube TV: For local and “usual” cable channels (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, ESPN, TBS, CNN, HGTV, etc).

On the top row you’ll see there are three category headings - Library, Home, and Live. “Home” is suggested shows based on previous and recent viewing, and to search type of show; “Library” is anything you save for future viewing ie. DVR; and “Live” is what is currently playing on network and cable channels.

Music: We have a Sonos wifi speaker on the bookshelf in the living room. To access a wide range of music, you’ll want to download the Sonos 2 app on your phone. Then your phone acts as the remote control for the speaker and you can listen to whatever you’d like, from Pandora, Amazon Music, XM Radio and Spotify, etc. Just search the artist or type of music and enjoy!

BLANKETS AND TOWELS

Extra Blankets: You will find extra blankets in the living room as well as extra blankets and pillows in each bedroom.

Extra Towels: You will find extra towels in the built-in cabinet of the main bathroom. If you need more or have trouble locating them, just reach out to us.

SEA TRAIL AMENITIES (map of facilities)

Keycard - Many of the Sea Trail Facilities require a keycard for access (pools, tennis, gym, beach parking). You’ll find the keycard in the kitchen pantry in an envelope. This is our personal card, so please return when you’re done using it. Replacement cards cost $50.

Pools - Maples Activity Center and outdoor pool is located on Clubhouse Rd about .25 mi away, just turn right when leaving the parking lot (very walkable, there’s a new walking path that you can access across the street from the pkg lot). Pink Palace Pool is located at 295 Rice Mill Circle about .5 mi away.

Fitness Center - Creekside Building at 295 Rice Mill Circle, is directly behind the Pink Palace Pool has a nice gym, indoor hot tub and sauna. Outside you’ll find a bocce ball court, horse shoe pits, corn hole and gas grills.

Beach Parking - Located at 428 First Street, there is a FREE private parking lot about a block from the Sunset Pier. This is reserved for Sea Trail Resort owners and guests. Don’t forget the keycard for gate access.

Indoor Pool /House’s Place Restaurant / Village Activity Center - Across from our parking lot is Royal Poste Rd, and just about 150 yards away you’ll find the Village Activity Center. A little different than the outdoor pools, for the indoor pool and game room there is a small fee for access (ie. family rate is $25 day/$70 week). House’s Place is currently open Thursday-Sunday (free access) with a really nice poolside deck to have lunch outside in nice weather or an easy way to grab take out.

GAMES and EQUIPMENT

Beach Chairs - we have a couple of beach chairs in the hallway closet that you are welcome to use. Just be sure to wipe all of the sand off of them before you put them back

Bocce Balls - there is a small beach version of bocce balls that should be in the closet on the shelf

Pickle ball - You’ll also find a pickle ball set (paddle and balls) in the closet. Nets and courts are at the Maples Activity Center near the pool

More games - Various games, puzzle and books on the bookshelf in the living room area
